An Open Letter initiated by an inquiry regarding Alan Keyes
by Pastor Brown
Dear Friend,
You are not the first, and assuredly you won't be the last, to seek my input regarding Mr. Alan Keys. As a matter of fact, during the last presidential campaign, requests for Mr. Keyes speeches to be evaluated by this Pastor were made and responses publicly presented. Although he is a Catholic (those with a Catholic heart have inbred into them a loyalty to Catholicism), actually he is the only one that addresses the issues of our day from a Biblical, constitutional posture. His comments are lucid, passionate, and accurate. Nevertheless, the media lapdogs have again attempted to ignore this man. This is because Mr. Keyes is an embarrassment to the status quo puppets and their puppet masters.
The likelihood of Mr. Keyes gaining the office of the president is extremely remote. While his credentials are nearly impeccable, his stage demeanor infectious, his message valid, and his audiences enthusiastic, the powers that be, however, have all but censored his message.
America is simply not ready for Mr. Keyes, or anyone like him, at this time in our degenerate history. Why? Besides Mr. Keyes being a conspicuously black man, he is, according to the perversions that be, politically incorrect. In their estimation Keyes is wrong since he is speaking right. Regarding the comment of his being black has absolutely nothing to do with "racism." In our current political climate, the deviant "left wing" radical agenda that is currently being pushed down the throats of Americans is, in truth, permitted by Almighty God to continue spreading it toxic vine-like practices all across the American horizon. When a people forgets God and HIS Word, they are turned into Hell by being left to themselves. Of course, this is displayed by "every man doing that which is right in his own eyes." The glory of America has faded. America has fallen. It has fallen from its lofty summit of greatness and good and has plunged headlong into a scandalous era of vice rather than virtue, pleasure rather than principle, selfishness rather than sacrifice, its body politic is beholden to government rather than God. Hence, as a judgment upon this apostate nation, the LORD God has granted men their desires only to send leanness into their souls. Where are the righteous? What have they done to counter the assaults against Christ and HIS community of saints?
There is no question that the Sovereign LORD of the universe has raised up Mr. Keyes. To be the president of the United States of America? No! This very talented, passionate former ambassador to the United nations is a voice - a lonely voice, albeit - of conscience. Were we, however, as a people - nationally, from all levels of economic status, regardless of ethnicity, educational advantages or geographic location to heed his clarion call and repent as a people of our propensity to embrace statism, then peradventure Alan Keyes may be installed as president. Until then, dear reader, what shall you do? Will it be business as usual? Friend, it must begin within each one us. May God grant each of us repentance unto the acknowledging of the truth, so that we as a people may be recovered out of the snare of the devil. Concerning casting a vote, this Pastor that you are reading, has consistently urged people, even before the days of Reagan, to vote for righteousness.
May God grant grace, enabling each of us to give unto HIM glory, honor and praise!
Sincerely,
Pastor Brown
