Someone has said, "To bury the truth, many shovels are needed." After General Douglas MacArthur, who was at one time the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in the Pacific, was relived of his duties, stripped of all authority and ordered to leave Japan April 12, 1951, he is quoted as saying, "I have been warned by many that an outspoken course, even if it be solely of the truth, will bring down upon my head ruthless retaliation -- that efforts will be made to destroy public faith in the integrity of my views --- not by force of just argument but by the application of the false methods of propaganda. I am told in effect that I must follow the leader-- keep silent -- or take the bitter consequences."
In America Americans have been betrayed often by those in the media by what a French author once called "the treason of the intellectuals." With their shovels the lap dogs of the administration have scooped stories upon the unsuspecting populace. In their "up to the minute" coverage of an event, the truth is too frequently buried beneath the sensational reporting.
Such is the case with reports of the recent death of the serial murder who at last met his maker Friday night. Dr. Barnett Slepian, 52, was a serial killer. To be sure this shall make a dent in the well-orchestrated government financed, political Armageddon against pre-born babies.
Like little children on a sandy beach with their plastic shovels, the pro-death core are rapidly shoveling tales of gentility about this deceased serial killer. Barnett Slepian lived for 52 years before being taken. How long did his victims live after coming in contact with this murder? What was the number of his murdered victims?
America's General Douglas MacArthur's reaction to the threats against himself was: "I shall raise my voice," said MacArthur, "as loud and as often a I believe it to be in the interest of the American people." America was founded upon the principle that when a government fails to respond properly to the purposes for which God ordains it to be, the people have the right, yea, the responsibility to alter it. Nearly two million innocent babies annually become victims of the US government protected holocaust.
Books of history tell of a memorial that stands in a courtyard in Berlin to Mr. Stauffenberg. He along with a half a dozen other men were shot to death after a failed attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler. How many innocent lives would have been spared had they succeeded?
Was the French resistance during the Nazi occupation justified? Ask the survivors! The Holy Scriptures clearly teaches that our duty to God and HIS crowning creation is to provide protection for those who are incapable of defending themselves. "If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; {12} If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? (Prov 24:11-12 KJV) Who is any more vulnerable than the growing child in the womb of the mother carry it? As Pastor, I too, shall raise my voice loudly declaring for all to hear that the serial murderer finally got his just deserts! Lives shall now be spared. May this truth never be buried under the rubbish shoveled by the little media shovels. God is glorified!
God is the only sovereign. Within His permissive will, murders like other violators of God's Word are taken out as He sees fit. Why be distracted by those who magnify the five doctors who have become targets of those desiring to stop paid killers of abortion? Let us magnify the LORD and glorify His name together.
